Family Gathering

This post is a long time coming. We had some family from California, Texas, New York and Mexico visiting for a cousin's wedding. Justin and I were unable to attend the wedding in El Paso, but still had the chance to meet up with a few of my primos, tios, and tias. We heard the wedding was beautiful, it was held at the Camino Real, in downtown El Paso, we were sad to miss the beautiful wedding, but were excited that we still got to hangout with some of our family. We rarely get to see most of them, so when they come to Las Cruces or El Paso, we always have an excuse to get together and celebrate! We also celebrated my cousin Vanessa's birthday!

Everybody loves when Vanessa comes to visit us! She is my "margarita" drinking partner. Below is a pic of a few of our cousins, this is a very small portion of us.

Sophia and Sernia had a great time playing with each other. They rode bikes, played basketball, and played with water from the water jug. Serina loves to make Sophia laugh, its hilarious watching those two play.

We had a great time hanging out with everyone and can't wait to see them all again soon!

Busy Busy

We have been busy bees these last few weeks. I started a new job almost three weeks, and loving it! We have also made weekend getaways to Ruidoso and Albuquerque. Justin had to "work" in Ruidoso and play in a golf tournament, so Sophia and I joined him. It was a nice and quiet getaway, Sophia and I shopped and hung out at the condo. Albuquerque was the exact opposite! Sophie and I went up with my mom, brother, sister, aunt and cousin. We had a great time, I will do a separate post on that soon, hopefully.

Sophia also started pre-school and gym class a few weeks ago too. She has a busy little schedule herself. She hangs out with Nana (Justin's Mom), M-TH, and my Mama watches her on Fridays. We have been very blessed that we have our Moms watching her throughout the week. Sophie goes to yoga every Tuesday with Nana and also just started gym class on Tuesdays too, and Thursdays she goes to pre-school. On Friday, she and Grandma (my Mom) usually visit my cousins salon (she loves getting her hair and nails done), eat lunch with all of my family and go shopping. She has enjoyed Fridays even more now that Auntie Cristina and Uncle Bobbo are on summer vacation.

Thats it for now, stay tuned for more postings and pictures coming soon!

Duck Pond

A few weekends ago Justin and I took Sophia to the duck pond and had a little picnic. She loves animals, and can actually make quite a few animal noises. She can imitate a dog, cat, cow, monkey, duck, frog, horse, and my favorite, a donkey; she actually has a miniature donkey named Manchada.

She loved chasing the ducks around and feeding them bread and her food, she was not interested in eating, except her cookie.
